Moradabad/Thakurdwara. The speeding bike that took the life of 12 year old innocent Shiv in Thakurdwara in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh did not belong to anyone else but to a local public representative. It is alleged that the bike belongs to Ward No. 6 councilor Salim. After a huge uproar and serious allegations by the family members, the police took immediate action and took the accused councilor Salim into custody. After this revelation the tension in the area has increased even more.

Mourning spread amidst the happiness of marriage

Actually, this entire incident happened on Wednesday night at around 9 pm. Vijay’s 12-year-old son Shiv, a resident of Thakurdwara, had gone to eat at a wedding ceremony. It is being told that while returning home, when they were crossing the road on foot, an uncontrolled bike hit innocent Shiva hard. The collision was so terrible that the child was thrown away and fell bleeding. Shiv’s mother Anita was also with him. He also has a fracture in his leg.

With the help of the panicked mother and local people, the child was immediately taken to the hospital, from where he was referred to Moradabad. Doctors struggled throughout the night to save the child’s life, but at around 4 am on Thursday morning, Shiva fell asleep forever. On hearing the news of their son’s death, mother Anita and sister Rashmi are in tears and the family is in grief.

Family’s allegation – ‘It was not an accident, he was killed intentionally’

This matter gained momentum when the family members and villagers clearly refused to accept it as a normal accident. People’s direct allegation is that the bike rider had seen Shiva, but instead of slowing down the car, he deliberately crushed the child. Now it has come to light that the bike belongs to Ward 6 councilor Salim.

Councilor Salim is in the custody of police, there is a long jam on the highway.

After the death of the child, angry villagers had blocked the Kashipur-Moradabad highway on Thursday morning. Long queues of vehicles formed on both sides of the highway and passengers remained stranded for hours. The protesters were adamant on demanding immediate arrest of the accused under any circumstances.

At present, the police have somehow pacified the villagers by informing them that the accused has been taken into custody and efforts are being made to smooth the traffic on the highway.
