Royal insider blasts Prince Harry's deluded U-turn - 'Prince William won't accept it'

Prince Harry's approach to public life six years after quitting the Royal Family will unlikely ever ease tensions with Prince William, a royal insider has claimed. The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from the Royal Family since stepping down as a senior working royal in 2020.

Harry's subsequent bombshell claims about the royals and his brother, the Prince of Wales, in particular, have caused a massive rift between the two sides. The two feuding brothers are said not to be on speaking terms.

Harry even admitted himself last year that his family won't speak to him for writing his explosive memoir, Spare, which was released in 2023.

But in the last year, the Duke's side has made efforts to find a common path for reconciliation with the King and the Royal Family.

However, throughout all that, several sources had consistently insisted that Prince William would put his foot down when it came to welcoming his brother back into the royal fold.

Now, Ailsa Anderson, Queen Elizabeth's former press secretary, said that Harry's approach to a life of independence in the US while still holding on to his royal links will never sit well with the heir.

She told People magazine that what the Sussexes are doing remains "a nonnegotiable" for William.

She said: "He wouldn't countenance any acceptance of it."

It comes as the future King celebrated 15 years of marriage with the Princess of Wales on Wednesday.

The couple visited a charity which benefitted from their Royal Wedding Gift Fund in 2011, to mark the occasion.

IntoUniversity, an education charity, was one of the 26 charities they chose for the royal wedding gift fund in 2011. The couple also enjoyed a romantic meal at the London hotel where Catherine stayed the night before their wedding.
