The Mumbai Indians continued to show their excellent batting form during their match against SRH in the IPL 2026 league but their winning streak was finally snapped by a single delivery by Nitish Kumar Reddy of the SRH.
Will Jacks showed his aggressive style of play where he took full command of the match. He scored rapidly thus putting pressure on the bowlers. However, things started to turn around when Nitish Reddy decided to use his crafty bowling technique from the seventh over of the match.

When the SRH team was desperately searching for a wicket, Nitish Reddy entered the crease to bowl the ball. In his first delivery, he bowled a crafty ball that moves slightly away from the batter. However, Will Jacks attempted a shot using his drive but the length of the pitch prevented him from doing so. The ball moved away and clipped his outside edge of the bat thus falling directly into the hands of Ishan Kishan who took an easy catch.
The wicket arrived during a crucial moment when Mumbai Indians were scoring runs at a rapid pace. Jacks had already made 46 runs off just 22 balls, hitting five fours and three sixes. His innings began the scoring for MI until SRH gained control through Nitish Reddy's dismissal.
The dismissal proved effective because it required simple execution. The bowler showed good thinking which enabled SRH to create a chance for match recovery.

Mumbai Indians keep strong run rate
Mumbai Indians maintained their rapid scoring ability, even after losing Will Jacks. Ryan Rickelton played an outstanding innings that enabled him to remain not out. The Mumbai Indians reached a score of 152 for 2 after 11.4 overs which showed their strong performance in the match. The run rate stayed above 13, which kept pressure on the SRH bowlers.
