Tezzbuzz Desk-The box office equation has completely changed due to the postponement of Yash’s film Toxic. The biggest beneficiary of this change has been Varun Dhawan, whose film Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has now returned to its old release date.

Earlier, Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai was scheduled to release on June 5, but after Toxic was announced to release on June 4, David Dhawan changed its date to May 22. Now that Toxic has been postponed, it has been decided to release the film again on June 5, 2026.

Collision with Karan Johar’s film postponed

Earlier this film was going to clash with Karan Johar’s Chand Mera Dil. But now that clash has been postponed due to change in release date, which has brought relief to Varun’s film.

Now direct confrontation with Bobby Deol

However, the danger is still not over. Bobby Deol’s film Bandar is also releasing on 5th June. Anurag Kashyap is directing this film and Nikhil Dwivedi is its producer. The special thing is that Bobby Deol is going to be seen in a different and powerful style in this film.

Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde will also be seen in Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai. However, the teaser of the film did not get much response. On this, David Dhawan clarified that AI was used in the teaser, but nothing like this will happen in the film.

Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai is being considered as the first big film to be released after IPL. During IPL, the earnings of films are affected, especially due to matches being held on weekends, less number of spectators go to theatres.
