The first bank holiday weekend in May is just a matter of days away. Many families and households are hoping for nice weather so they can enjoy some time in their gardens and even partake in a spot of al fresco cooking and dining.
Shoppers looking for an all-in-one outdoor cooking device can find a rare deal on Ninja's Woodfire Outdoor Oven, Artisan Pizza Maker and BBQ Smoke on the recently launched SharkNinja website. Originally £524.99, it has been reduced to £369.99 in a bank holiday offer.
But there are more savings to be made. Shark and Ninja are owned by the same company, and the two websites have merged. As part of a customer initiative, SharkNinja is now offering new email subscribers 15% off their first order.
As a result, first-time email subscribers can get an extra discount on the Woodfire Outdoor Oven, Artisan Pizza Maker and BBQ Smoke. With the two offers combined, the appliance will cost £314.49 - a considerable saving of £210.
The all-in-one cooking device comes in a bundle complete with a cooking stand and a cover. Powered by electricity, it has a temperature range of 40°C-370°C, offering 'premium flavours, textures and results' at the touch of a button.
The Ninja cooker comprises a high-heat roaster, a barbecue and a pizza oven for the ultimate outdoor cooking experience. It can fit up to a 5kg beef joint, a whole 3kg chicken, vegetables, two racks of ribs and a 12-inch pizza.
The Woodfire Outdoor Oven, Artisan Pizza Maker and BBQ Smoke also comes with wood pellets and the stand as hooks on it to store cooking utensils. Ninja's cooker is at the higher end of the market, and even with the 15% discount applied it may be over budget for many people.
There are more affordable options to consider, such as the Outdoor Pizza Oven from Amazon priced at £67.99, down from £79.99. This option features a robust square iron body with a 2-layer structure: a lower fire chamber for wood or charcoal burning and an upper cooking chamber for baking.
Meanwhile, B&S has an Outsunny Propane Gas Barbecue for £79.99. It comes with two burners and two extending tables on each side for easy prep.
In the reviews for Ninja's Woodfire Outdoor Oven, Artisan Pizza Maker and BBQ Smoker a pleased customer said: "Great pizza oven, I toyed with the idea of purchasing this for a while and after a few months I caved and bought it and I'm so glad it did. It's a brilliant pizza oven. I have used it for all sorts not just pizza and I've not been disappointed with one thing I've made in it. It's easy enough to clean. "
Another added: "Love love love this oven. I'll be honest, it's a little bigger than expected but I don't mind. I've cooked everything from pizzas and smoked joints of meat to cakes; it's brilliant. I'd recommend getting the stand as its bid to store but that's my only complaint. Pizza cones out lovely but smoking a lamb joint in this was next level delicious."
Another was more pleased, penning: "I bought this for my husband for Christmas, and it turned out to be the best family purchase we made. We hosted over Christmas, and the pizzas were the highlight. Making them together for family and children was great fun. Everyone who had one of our pizzas ended up going home and ordering the same Ninja pizza oven."
A final user wrote: "Bought as a friend recommended it and as a ninja freak I couldn't resist it's fantastic for pizza and steak, not tried anything else yet but will when the weather is better. Ninja customer service is faultless. I always buy from site."
