An Air India pilot flew a passenger plane to Bali on Tuesday. The 40-year-old pilot died of a heart attack there on Wednesday. The pilot was resting as usual at a hotel in Bali after an international flight. He died of heart attack there.
The Air India spokesperson said that the pilot suddenly fell ill while staying at the hotel. As the discomfort was severe, he was rushed to the nearest hospital. Doctors said that he suffered from a heart attack. The young aviator could not be saved even though the treatment was started quickly. “We are saddened by the loss of a cockpit member of our airline. Condolences to the family of the deceased pilot,” the airline said in a statement.
An Air India official said the pilot underwent all the necessary health tests this month. He has not been diagnosed with any health problems. It was further stated that the deceased pilot operated the flight as per the scheduled working hours of DGCA.
Incidentally, it has been alleged that not all airlines are following the DGCA rules regarding adequate rest for pilots. After the terrible plane crash in Ahmedabad, the discussion started at all levels. Which is never possible without increasing the number of employees. Under pressure, goodwill is generated by several airlines. Six airlines quickly recruited about 14,000 pilots to bring indigo salt to Punta Fura. In this case, the question arises about the death of the pilot while resting.
