Administrative reshuffle (IPS Transfer) has been seen in Telangana and Karnataka. IPS officers have been assigned new responsibilities. Three Indian Police Service officers in Karnataka and one in Telangana have been transferred. The transfer and appointment have been approved by the Governor. Ravi S., a batch 1998 IPS officer in Karnataka. has been appointed to the post of Additional Director General of Police, Karnataka State Reserve Police. He is going to replace Sandeep Patil. Earlier he was working as Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence.

Labhu Ram, a batch 2004 IPS officer, IGP, Central Range, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Intelligence with immediate effect. He is going to succeed IPS officer Ravi S. Meanwhile, batch 2012 IPS officer S Girish has been transferred from the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Anti-Narcotic, Task Force and appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Bengaluru.

Telangana IPS officer transferred
Reshuffle is continuing in the bureaucracy of Telangana. A few days ago, 30 IAS officers were transferred.
