Flipkart names Sharayu Jadhav as VP Legal, Varun Gupta as VP Corporate Development

The company has made several other key leadership hires recently.

Flipkart announces shift in leadership

New Delhi: E-commerce company Flipkart on Wednesday said it has appointed Sharayu Jadhav as Vice President of Legal and Varun Gupta as Vice President of Corporate Development.

Jadhav returns to Flipkart after working in leadership roles at Acko and Razorpay. During her previous stint at Flipkart, she handled legal responsibilities for its wholesale division and Myntra.

In her new position, she will manage the legal operations for Flipkart's marketplace, supply chain, data privacy, technology law, and labour and employment, according to a company statement.

Gupta joins Flipkart from Reliance, where he managed corporate development and equity capital initiatives. He has nearly two decades of experience in corporate development and investment banking. At Flipkart, Gupta will direct strategic investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and the company's early-stage investment arm, Flipkart Ventures.

The Walmart-backed firm has been actively strengthening its leadership bench as it prepares for its Initial Public Offering (IPO).

As part of this, last month, Flipkart announced the appointment of Somnath Das as Vice President of Supply Chain. In February, the company named Vipin Kapooria as Vice President, Business Finance, and Yogita Shanbhag as Vice President, Human Resources.

In January 2026, it announced the appointments of Jane Duke as the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer (CECO) for the group; Jason Chappel as Vice President, Flipkart Group Controller, and Amer Hussain as Vice President, Supply Chain, for its Grocery and Minutes (quick commerce) businesses.
