What is vitiligo?
(Health Corner) :- Vitiligo is not a disease, rather it is caused by the lack of melanin in the skin, due to which the skin color becomes white. This disease does not spread from any other person. In this condition there is no physical pain, burning or itching, only spots appear on the face. Due to vitiligo, a person may face mental stress and feeling of inferiority.
Symptoms and causes of vitiligo
Symptoms of vitiligo include the formation of a small yellow spot on any part of the body, which later turns white. This stain can spread and take the form of a large rash.
The main cause of this disease is the consumption of contaminated food, due to which toxic elements accumulate in the body. Presence of worms in the intestines can also cause white spots. Apart from this, dysentery, constipation, skin diseases, typhoid, tuberculosis (T.B.), eczema, asthma, diabetes, boils, injuries, burns and liver diseases can also cause vitiligo. This problem can also arise due to stopping the movement of stool and urine and imbalance in hormones.
treatment measures
White spots are not a serious problem, so there is no need to be disappointed about it. With proper treatment, it can be cured quickly and its progression can be stopped. If treated on time, it may take a few months to a few years to heal.
