Ingredients of Cucumber Idli
- 2 freshly grated cucumber
- Idli rava one and a half cup
- shredded fresh coconut
- 2 tbsp soaked chana dal
- 2-3 green chillies
- a handful of coriander
- 5-6 curd tablespoons
- salt as per taste

To make cucumber idli, first wash the cucumber and then grate it because its peel contains nutrients. Now transfer the cucumber to a big vessel. After this add idli rava and mix it with a spoon. Add coconut and green chillies in a grinder jar and grind it. This will become a coarse mixture. Now add soaked gram dal, finely chopped coriander and salt. Lastly you have to add curd to it and then mix everything. Keep its consistency a little thick. You can also put the prepared mixture in an idli mold or banana leaf and steam it. This idli is traditionally wrapped in banana leaves and steamed, which gives it an amazing taste. If you have banana leaves then use them. All the ingredients used in this idli are healthy, hence it is beneficial for your stomach also.
