Rajasthan’s young opening batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has captured the Orange Cap of the tournament with this innings. He completed his 400 runs in this edition. He became the first batsman to complete 400 runs in IPL19. Along with this, Vaibhav also became the batsman to score 400 runs in the fewest number of balls in an IPL season. In this matter he broke Andre Russell’s 7 year old record.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi completed his 400 runs in just 167 balls. Earlier, Andre Russell had completed four hundred runs in only 188 runs in IPL 2019. Abhishek Sharma (2024) touched 195, Nicholas Pooran (2025) 197 and Glenn Maxwell (2014) touched 400 runs in 200 balls.
Suryavanshi gave a bang to Rajasthan
Suryavanshi gave a great start to Rajasthan while chasing the big target of 223 runs in the match played against Punjab Kings on Tuesday. With this, the team’s score reached 50 in just 3.1 overs. Suryavanshi hit three fours and five sixes in this innings of only 17 balls. On the basis of his innings, Rajasthan Royals were successful in winning the match.
