UP Police Recruitment 2026: There is a major update for candidates preparing for the Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment. New police recruitment drives are set to take place in Uttar Pradesh this year. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) is preparing to recruit for various positions within the police department. All these recruitment processes are scheduled to be completed within this very year—that is, in 2026. 

This means that 100,000 people will secure jobs in UP this year. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced these 100,000 job opportunities in the UP Police during an event held on Tuesday, April 28. In other words, the police department in UP will witness a massive recruitment drive for a bumper number of vacancies this year.

On this occasion, he stated that the Police Recruitment and Promotion Board would complete the recruitment process for 100,000 new positions this year. He also provided updates regarding the changes implemented in the police training system. He noted that in 2017, the police training capacity stood at 3,000; however, radical changes have since been introduced, resulting in over 62,000 police personnel completing their training this very year.

**Which Positions Will Be Filled in the UP Police?**
This year, recruitment for 100,000 new positions will take place within the UP Police. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made this announcement. According to the information available, recruitment will be conducted across various categories within the UP Police, including positions for Constables as well as Sub-Inspectors.
