I clearly told myself, my family and teachers that I wanted to pursue cricket only.”

Advising the students, he said, “Speak the truth to yourself about your dreams. Whatever you want to do, do it with complete honesty and commitment. Only you yourself know whether you are 100 percent honest or not.”

Kohli also told that he has a long association with this academy. He said that he has been practicing here since the age of eight and even today comes here whenever he gets time. This place has been a big part of his childhood.

He expressed hope that the children coming here will understand the importance of this academy and will learn from here and move ahead. It is noteworthy that meanwhile, Virat Kohli also created a new history in IPL on Monday. He became the first player to achieve this feat in IPL history by completing 9000 runs in the match against Delhi Capitals.
