Rajasthan openers Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal were also brilliant with the bat. Sooryavanshi scored 43 runs in 16 balls, laced with 5 sixes and 3 fours. On the other hand, Jaiswal posted a 27-ball 51, with the help of 7 boundaries and 1 maximum. Captain Riyan Parag (29 off 16) was also impactful.
For PBKS, Yuzvendra Chahal was the most successful bowler, taking three wickets.
Earlier, all the Punjab batters were among the runs. Prabhsimran Singh (59 off 44) and Priyansh Arya (29 off 11) added important runs to the total. Cooper Connolly took just 11 balls to accumulate 30 runs. He smashed 3 sixes and 2 fours. Shreyas struggled a bit, scoring 30 off 27. The real push came from Marcus Stoinis, who managed 62 runs off 22 balls, hitting 6 maximums and 4 boundaries.
Yash Raj Punja dismissed two batters. With their sixth win of the 19th season, RR are in the third spot while PBKS continue to top the standings despite losing a contest.
