Ashu Reddy Challenges FIR In High Court

has approached the Telangana High Court to cancel a cheating case filed against her. The case was registered after an NRI, Y. Dharmendra, alleged that she took more than Rs. 9 crore from him over time by promising marriage. Based on his complaint police filed an FIR last week. In her petition Ashu Reddy said the case was registered without hearing her side or giving her a chance to explain. She requested the court to dismiss the FIR on these grounds. Reports also mention that her father accepted there were financial dealings between Ashu and the complainant. The matter is now before the Telangana High Court and further hearings are expected soon.
