Invited to bat, opener Prabhsimran Singh scored 59 up front while Marcus Stoinis provided the final flourish with an unbeaten 62 off 22 balls as Punjab Kings posted 222 for 4.
In reply, the Royals then put up a collective batting effort to overhaul the target with six wickets and four balls to spare. Donovan Ferreira’s audacious stroke-play and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s fiery fifty helped Rajasthan notch up a brilliant victory. Shubham Dubey (31 not out off 12 balls) also played his part with the bat.
Earlier, leg spinner Yash Punja picked up two wickets for the visitors while Jofra Archer also claimed a wicket.
