Delhi: Former Australian veteran player David Warner was a part of Pakistan Super League (PSL) this year. Warner’s team Karachi Kings is out of PSL 2026. After which Warner shared a post on social media thanking the team and fans. During this time, a fan asked Warner to leave PSL and play IPL. On this, Warner has given a befitting reply to the fan.
What answer did Warner give to the fan?
Warner thanked the team by posting on social media. Warner wrote, “We did not get the result we were expecting, but the passion, courage and spirit shown by this team was fantastic. If you have never been a part of a franchise team or such an environment, it is difficult to understand that level of hard work and dedication. My best wishes to all for the future. Thank you to our fans for their continued support as always.”
Warner further wrote, “Many thanks also to the PSL for their wonderful hospitality – maybe a little more paddle or golf next time. Thanks also to the security and police who looked after us, and to everyone for their patience during the traffic delays. Hope to see you all at the stadium again soon.”
A fan commented on this post, “It would be good for you to leave PSL and come back to IPL.” Responding to this, Warner wrote, “There is no need for this now.”
Warner is not a part of IPL since last season
Warner continued playing in IPL till 2024. But in the year 2025, no team bought him in the auction. After this he went to play in PSL. In the year 2026, he did not put his name in the IPL auction.
