Gold Silver Price Today : Amidst the regional tensions in the Middle East, there is continuous fluctuation in the prices of precious metals. Today, on April 28, there was a slight softening in the prices of gold and silver. In early trade on MCX, the price of gold fell by Rs 150 and the price of silver fell by Rs 1,300.

Today it opened at Rs 1,51,700 and slipped by Rs 166 to Rs 1,51,555 in early trade. At 9.15 am it was trading at Rs 1,51,603, down by Rs 118 or 0.08 per cent.

The price of Silver has also declined. Silver for delivery on May 5 had closed at Rs 2,41,824 per kg in the last session and today it opened at Rs 2,40,490. It slipped by Rs 1,334 to Rs 2,40,490 in early trade. At 9.20 am it was trading at Rs 2,40,912, down by Rs 920 or 0.38 per cent.

A slight decline in the prices of gold and silver has also been seen in the bullion market. 24 carat gold is trading at Rs 1,53,700 with a fall of Rs 10. Similarly, 22 carat gold is currently trading down by Rs 10 at Rs 1,40,890 and 18 carat gold is trading at Rs 1,15,270. Silver is also trading at Rs 2,59,900 with a fall of Rs 100.
