Police have intensified the scope of investigation in the case of suspicious death of four people of the same family in Mumbai. Initially, there was a suspicion of food poisoning after eating watermelon, but till now investigation has not revealed any clear suspicious reason.
The police have also made detailed inquiries of the person selling watermelon in this case. According to officials, nothing suspicious has come to light against the seller during the interrogation. Not only this, no complaint of illness or food poisoning has been registered by any other customer in the same area after eating watermelon. This has made the investigation more complicated and the police are now investigating the case from every angle.
According to the information, the incident took place in Ghati Gali Pydhuni area where there is an atmosphere of panic among the people after this accident. The sudden death of four members of the same family has raised many questions. Police believe that if this was a case of normal food poisoning, then similar symptoms would have been seen in other people nearby, but this has not happened.
Keeping this in mind, the police has sent the viscera samples of the deceased for chemical analysis. Officials say that the real cause of death will be revealed only after the post-mortem report and lab test results are received.
At present the investigation is going on and the police is working keeping in mind every possible aspect whether it is food poisoning, some kind of adulteration or any other reason. In this entire matter, now all eyes are on the post-mortem report, which will play an important role in uncovering this mysterious incident.
