Chittoor: A journalist was chased and hacked to death during his morning walk in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday morning, Tv9 Telugu reported.
ABN Andhra Jyothy reporter Jagan Mohan Reddy was hacked by bike-borne assailants with sharp knives, near a mosque in Dhanapuram, V. Kota Mandal. The reporter died on the spot while Mani, who was walking alongside Jagan, sustained severe injuries.
Old feud, a motive?
Police said that an old feud could be the motive behind the murder. It is suspected that Tamim, along with another youth, committed the murder.
A case has been registered in connection with the incident. Six special teams have been formed to nab the accused.
