New Delhi: Indian Railways (IR) is set to significantly boost inter-state connectivity with the launch of two new Amrit Bharat Express trains on Tuesday. Designed to offer a travel experience on par with the popular Vande Bharat Express but at a distinctly more affordable price point, these services target passengers from lower and lower-middle-income segments. The inaugural runs commenced from Uttar Pradesh, promising improved rail links between the state and Maharashtra.
