The Supreme Court on Monday issued a notice to Priya Sachdev Kapoor on the petition of Sanjay Kapoor’s mother Rani Kapoor on the issue of properties of actor Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sanjay Kapoor. The Supreme Court has said that till the time the issue to Sanjay Kapoor’s legacy goes on legally, the security of the properties should be ensured. The Supreme Court has issued notice to Karisma Kapoor’s children along with other parties in the dispute over Sanjay Kapoor’s inheritance.
The Supreme Court told Rani Kapoor that this matter could go on for a long time. You are 80 years old. Therefore the advice is to try for mutual agreement. The original dispute over Sanjay Kapoor’s will is going on between his mother Rani Kapoor and third wife Priya Sachdev Kapoor. In this case, the children of Sanjay Kapoor’s divorced wife Karisma Kapoor have also staked a claim. The Supreme Court said during the hearing that it will hear the case on merit. The court has said that the case will be heard again next week. However, the issue of Sanjay Kapoor’s will has become so complicated that the court can give its verdict only after thoroughly examining all the evidence.
Sanjay Kapoor’s assets are worth around Rs 30 thousand crores. There is a will dispute between his third wife Priya Sachdev and Karisma Kapoor’s children Kiyan and Samaira. The children have termed the will as fake and alleged that they have been deprived of their father’s property. Karishma’s children say that Priya Sachdev made a fake will and excluded her from the ancestral property. There is also an allegation that this will has someone else’s signature. The wrong address of Samaira and the wrong spelling of Kiyan’s name in the will have also been challenged. At the same time, Sanjay Kapoor’s mother Rani has also accused daughter-in-law Priya Sachdev of grabbing property. This matter has also gone to Delhi High Court. At the same time, Priya Sachdev says that a lot of money has already been given to Karishma’s children.
