Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda's Busy Start to Married Life
Despite having a fairytale wedding, actors Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda have embarked on their married life with a hectic schedule. Tying the knot in March 2024, the couple had to postpone their honeymoon due to their professional obligations. Unlike many newlyweds who take a break after their wedding festivities, Pulkit and Kriti opted to focus on their careers. Recently, Pulkit shared insights into their decision to forgo a honeymoon, emphasizing their commitment to their work.
Pulkit Samrat Discusses Skipping the Honeymoon
In a recent chat with a media outlet, Pulkit openly discussed the choice he and Kriti made to skip their honeymoon. He noted that both were heavily engaged in their respective projects immediately after the wedding. Kriti returned to filming for Rana Naidu just three days post-wedding, while Pulkit dove into his own work commitments. He remarked, "One of the significant sacrifices I made was not going on my honeymoon."
Currently, Pulkit is preparing for the launch of his new series, Glory, where he portrays a boxer. The preparation for this role was intense, requiring nearly two years of rigorous training, which limited his personal time, including family interactions. The demanding nature of the project made it challenging to plan a honeymoon. He added that as soon as Kriti finished her filming schedule, he jumped straight into working on Glory, leaving no time for a break. With the series set to premiere on May 1, he is now fully engaged in promotional activities. He even mentioned that he has set a “disclaimer” stating he will be unavailable for 15 days following the release of Glory.
Insights into Pulkit and Kriti's Relationship
The love story of Pulkit and Kriti began several years ago on the set of Veerey Ki Wedding. Their bond deepened during the filming of Pagalpanti, leading to them dating in 2019. After years together, they got engaged in a private ceremony before marrying on March 15, 2024, at the opulent ITC Grand Bharat.
Additionally, Glory marks a significant milestone in Pulkit’s career as it is his lead debut in the OTT space. Created by Karan Anshuman and Karmanya Ahuja, the series explores the lives of two brothers entangled in family disputes, rivalry, and a murder mystery set against the backdrop of boxing.
