The Delhi Capitals hit an odd low in the history of the Indian Premier League after they chose to bat against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 27. Against the RCB bowlers, Axar Patel's DC could manage only 75 runs, with Axar himself getting dismissed for a duck.
It was the impact substitute Abhishiek Porel that kept the innings going while the other side collapsed like a house of cards. Well, with 75 runs on board, DC scored the second-lowest score in the IPL's history after the impact substitute rule was introduced. RCB still holds the top position with 59 runs they scored against the Rajasthan Royals in 2023.
