Sky issues 24-hour countdown to claim ultimate TV upgrade at 'lowest ever' price

Sky has confirmed that a blockbuster deal is about to end, and that means those wanting the ultimate upgrade will need to act fast. The TV and telecoms firm has been running a discount on its Ultimate TV & 900Mbps Full Fibre Gigafast Broadband plan for the past few weeks, with the promise that those signing up will get "the lowest price ever". As a quick reminder, this package includes a Sky Stream box, which offers access to TV without needing a dish.

Along with that smart device, it also comes packed with content, including over 100 premium channels via Sky Ultimate. That's not all as those taking up this deal also get Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu access as part of the price. That means shows, movies and boxsets from these much-loved streaming platforms can all be viewed without paying a penny extra.

The final reason to consider this deal is that Sky will also supply rapid broadband speeds of up to 900Mbps. At that rate, customers can download a full HD movie in under 40 seconds - that's around 10 times faster than the UK average.

So, how much is this going to cost?

Those signing up before Wednesday, April 29, will pay just £51 per month.

So, how does this offer compare to Sky's rivals?

Virgin Media has a deal for £34.99 per month, which includes TV and broadband.

That is cheaper than Sky, but this offer doesn't include HBO Max or Disney+. It also offers slower 364Mbps broadband speeds.
