One such incident is to the 1993 big budget film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, which despite a huge star cast, could not impress the audience and flopped miserably at the box office. The failure of this film forced a famous artist to commit suicide.

Satish Kaushik became emotional after the film flopped

The film was directed by late actor and director Satish Kaushik, while it was produced by Boney Kapoor. Later, in an interview, Satish Kaushik admitted that after the flop of the film, he was mentally broken and negative thoughts started coming in his mind.

    Boney Kapoor had revealed that at that time Satish Kaushik was so upset that he even talked about jumping from a moving car. Not only this, on reaching the hotel he was talking about jumping from the first floor. This shows his serious state of mental stress.

    Later, Satish Kaushik, while remembering this incident in a light manner, said that at that time strange thoughts were coming in his mind and he was trying to handle the situation through humor. He also said that he was under a lot of emotional pressure at that time.

    Although the film was unsuccessful, its music became quite popular. Tracks like its songs Tu Roop Ki Rani Tu Choron Ka Raja are still heard among the people. The story of the film was written by Javed Akhtar, while the music was composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal.
