Rinku Singh brought fans a lasting memory during the Indian Premier League 2026 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders. Rinku Singh attacked bowler Digvesh Singh Rathi during the last over and his hitting created an extraordinary match situation. Starting from the second ball of the over, Rinku smashed four sixes in a row.
The first six was hit when he faced a googly delivery and he moved to hit the ball toward long-on. He hit the next pitchable ball which became overpitched to extra cover. He maintained a low position during the third ball and hit the ball over the long-on boundary. Rinku hit the ball with force over cow corner for his fourth six.
The big hits at the end of the game provided KKR necessary runs during their most critical moments.

Rinku Stands Strong for KKR
The KKR team lost their first three wickets which left them in a challenging situation. The failure of the top order batting left the team facing critical pressure.
Rinku Singh played a calm and smart innings. He finished the match with 83 runs while remaining not out until the final whistle. He hit seven fours and five sixes during his innings. His late hitting performance helped KKR reach a total which seemed impossible at first. The team gained confidence after their difficult initial period.

The Kolkata Knight Riders finished their innings with 155 runs while losing 7 wickets during their 20 overs. The team lost Tim Seifert for zero and Ajinkya Rahane for 10 runs. Rinku Singh scored 83 runs to remain not out while Cameron Green scored 34 runs. Ramandeep Singh added 6 runs while Sunil Narine stayed not out with 4 runs.
Mohsin Khan reached outstanding bowler status for Lucknow Super Giants after he claimed 5 wickets while allowing 23 runs during his 4-over bowling session which included 1 maiden. George Linde took 1 wicket. The bowlers Mohammed Shami Prince Yadav and Digvesh Singh Rathi delivered their spells but failed to secure any wickets.
The total reached 155 because Rinku Singh contributed his hitting performance which led to a successful finish for KKR.
