This feature will prove to be very useful for those people who are troubled by sudden updates while working.
Microsoft has added a new Pause feature in Windows Update. Now users will get a calendar interface, where they can stop updates by choosing the date of their choice. This period will be maximum 35 days. The special thing is that after completion of 35 days, you can extend it again for 35 days. The company has not placed any limit on this extension. This means that if you want, you can postpone Windows Updates indefinitely. However, if you do not pause again in time, the updates will resume normally.

A major complaint of Windows users was that when an update came, the system was often forced to show the option of Update and Restart or Update and Shut Down. Microsoft has also removed this problem. Now normal Restart and Shut Down options will also be available in the power menu. If you select either of these options, the computer will continue to function without installing updates. This will not cause any interruption during important meetings, presentations or other important work.
Microsoft has currently started rolling out this feature for the users of Windows Insider Dev Channel and Experimental Channel. Apart from this, the company has given the option to skip updates even during Out of Box Experience i.e. new PC setup. Additionally, driver updates will now display more detailed information, allowing users to easily understand whether the update is for display, audio, battery, or any other hardware. In the coming time, this feature will be made available to all Windows users.
