LSG vs KKR Do-Or-Die Match : Two matches are to be played in IPL today. In which the first match will be played between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk Stadium. Whereas in the evening match, Kolkata Knight Riders will face Lucknow Super Giants. It is very important for both the teams to win this match, because defeat will almost eliminate them from the race for playoffs.

Actually, 18 points have been considered the safest to reach the IPL playoffs, while teams reaching 16 points have also been reaching the playoffs. But, in the current season, Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders have lost 5 out of 7 matches. Both the teams have 4 and 3 points respectively. In such a situation, Lucknow will have to win at least 6 out of the remaining seven matches to keep the playoff hopes alive.
On the other hand, the challenges for KKR are bigger. This team has won 1 out of 7 matches, while 1 has been inconclusive. If they have to win all the remaining matches to reach the playoffs. If KKR loses today’s match and even if they win the remaining six matches, their total will be only 15 points. After which they will have to rely on their fate. In such a situation, it is almost impossible to reach the playoffs.
