Ingredients required to make Semolina Paratha
- 2 cups fine semolina
- half cup wheat flour
- half cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1-2 finely chopped green chillies
- finely chopped coriander
- half teaspoon cumin
- half teaspoon celery
- salt as per taste
- some kashmiri red chilli
- 1 teaspoon oil (for frying)
- Lukewarm water (for kneading the dough)
- oil or ghee for baking
Make soft and tasty semolina paratha like this
prepare the dough
First of all, add semolina and wheat flour in a big bowl and mix well.

Now add onion, green chilli, ginger-garlic paste, green coriander, cumin, celery, salt and red chilli and mix well.
knead the dough
Add 1 teaspoon oil to the mixture and knead a soft dough with the help of lukewarm water.
let the dough set
Keep the dough covered for 10-15 minutes, so that the semolina swells well and the paratha becomes soft.
Roll and bake paratha
Now make small balls and roll the parathas. Heat the pan and apply oil or ghee on both the sides and fry the parathas till they become golden and crisp.

Serve hot semolina paratha with curd, pickle or chutney of your choice. It is a great option for breakfast as well as light lunch.
