How much is the price?
Land Rover has launched the India-assembled Range Rover Sport Autobiography trim at an ex-showroom price of ₹1.60 crore (approx. $1.6 million). Bookings have already started for this car. The local production of the Autobiography trim brings the price of the top variant closer to the mainstream Dynamic HSE.
In terms of design, this variant offers several upgrades over the standard variant. The car gets 22-inch forged alloy wheels with stain black finish. It also gets red brake calipers and Autobiography badging. This SUV also features flush door handles.
It also features a gesture-controlled tailgate and power-folding mirrors with memory function. This car will be available in several color options. The Autobiography trim offers high-level interior and exterior detailing. It will have leather upholstery, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, front center console refrigerator and many other features. The front seats can be adjusted in 22 ways.
Engine and Power
Since the car is now being assembled in India, there are several powertrain options available. It comes in 3.0-litre petrol and diesel versions. A 4.4-liter V8 engine will also be available. The 3.0-litre engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The D350 diesel engine produces 351 hp and 700 Nm of torque. This car accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.8 seconds. Its maximum speed is 234 km per hour. The P400 petrol engine produces 400 hp and 550 Nm of torque. The variant accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.5 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is 242 km per hour. A 4.4-litre V8 engine will be available in the imported version.
