RR vs SRH IPL 2026 Match 36th Highlight: The 36th match of IPL 2026 was played today i.e. on 25th April between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. In this exciting match, the visiting team Sunrisers Hyderabad performed brilliantly and defeated Rajasthan Royals by 5 wickets. This was Hyderabad’s second consecutive win over Rajasthan this season. Earlier, both the teams had faced each other at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, where SRH defeated RR by 57 runs.

With this victory, 10 points have been added to the account of Sunrisers Hyderabad and the team has now reached the third position in the points table. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals had to slip to fourth position after this defeat. This was Rajasthan’s third defeat of this season. There was a tough competition between the two teams, but Hyderabad’s better batting changed the course of the match.
Match winning partnership of Kishan and Abhishek
Chasing a huge target of 229 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad finished the match in just 18.3 overs. The partnership of Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma played the most important role in this run chase. There was an explosive partnership of 132 runs between the two, which put the Rajasthan bowlers under complete pressure. Abhishek Sharma scored 57 runs in 29 balls, while Ishan Kishan played a stormy innings of 74 runs in 31 balls. Travis Head once again flopped and could score only 6 runs. Nitish Kumar Reddy played a quick inning of 36 runs, while Heinrich Klaasen added 29 runs.
Rajasthan’s strong start and century of glory
Batting first, Rajasthan Royals had a slow start, with Yashasvi Jaiswal getting out after scoring only 10 runs. After this, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel took over the innings and made a brilliant partnership of 112 runs. Showing tremendous form, Vaibhav played a historic inning of 103 runs in just 37 balls, which is one of the fastest centuries in IPL history. He hit 5 fours and 12 sixes. Dhruv Jurel also played an important inning of 51 runs.
Hyderabad bowling and the thrill of the end
Ryan Parag, Hetmyer and other batsmen could not make a big contribution in the middle and lower order of Rajasthan. Donovan Ferreira played a quick inning of 33 runs, while Jadeja and Archer failed. In bowling, Prafulla Hinge and Ishan Malinga took 2-2 wickets for SRH, while Saqib Hussain and Pat Cummins got 1-1 success. In the end, Salil Arora gave the team a historic victory by hitting the winning shot.
