UP Board Scrutiny 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has now offered an opportunity to students—following the announcement of High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) results—who are not satisfied with their marks. The Board has initiated the online application process for the re-checking of answer sheets, officially termed 'Scrutiny.' Through its official 'X' handle, the UPMSP has advised students wishing to have their answer sheets re-evaluated to apply within the stipulated time frame. Please note that no applications will be considered after May 17.

If you wish to request scrutiny for both the written and practical examinations, you must pay separate fees for each.

**How to Apply**
First, visit the official UP Board website: upmsp.edu.in.
Click on the 'Scrutiny Registration' link located on the homepage.
Log in by entering your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Select the subjects for which you wish to request scrutiny and pay the fees online.
After submitting the form, ensure you take a printout of it.
Attach the fee receipt to the application form and send it via Registered Post to the designated Regional Office by May 17.
**How were this year's results?**
It is worth noting that the UP Board announced the Class 10 and Class 12 results on April 23. This year, the pass percentage for the 10th grade stood at 90.42%, while 80.38% of students were successful in the 12th grade. Approximately 26.02 lakh students appeared for the High School examination, and 24.91 lakh students appeared for the Intermediate examination. To pass, securing a minimum of 33% marks in each subject is mandatory.
