New Delhi: The National Testing Agency has announced the results for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scores on the official websites, including exams.nta.nic.in and cuet-pg.nta.ac.in.
Passing marks and score importanceWhile there is a minimum qualifying benchmark, admission depends mainly on scores. As per NTA norms, candidates scoring 45 per cent are considered to have passed the CUET PG exam.
However, universities do not rely only on pass marks. They prepare merit lists based on scores. Higher scores improve chances of admission to preferred courses and institutions.
Admission process after resultAfter the declaration of results, universities will start their admission process. Candidates need to apply separately to each university where they seek admission.
Admissions will be based on CUET PG scores and cut-offs decided by each university. Institutions will release their own merit lists and counselling schedules.
No rechecking provisionUnlike some other entrance exams, CUET PG does not allow rechecking of results. The NTA releases a provisional answer key before results and invites objections from candidates.
After reviewing objections, a final answer key is published. The result is then prepared based on this final key. Scores declared in the result are treated as final and cannot be challenged.
