digital desk- Politics has heated up after seven Rajya Sabha MPs of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) left the party. On this development, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and senior party leader and MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer have launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Taking aim at the rebel MPs, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the departure of such people does not make any difference to the party. He said, “The party and the organization are bigger than the individual. Those who have gone today never had the need to go among the public and ask for votes, hence they have no support base.” Attacking the BJP, Mann said that “BJP slowly swallows the party with which it merges.” He alleged that the leaders who have left the party today are not doing so for their political future but to “save their lives”. He also said that even after joining BJP, he would have no future and would just be used and abandoned.

CM mentioned big leaders

Giving examples, the Chief Minister mentioned Captain Amarinder Singh and Manpreet Badal, who left Congress and joined BJP. Mann said that even the departure of these big faces had no impact on the public and today their support base has become weak. At the same time, MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer also made serious allegations against BJP. He said that for the last 12 years, BJP has been adopting the same “model” of weakening democracy across the country. According to him, as soon as the elections come, BJP either scares the opposition leaders through agencies or lures them into its party.

MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer also attacked

In this context, Meet Hayer gave examples of leaders like Himanta Biswa Sarma, Ajit Pawar, Ravneet Singh Bittu and Jyotiraditya Scindia and said that this pattern can be seen in the entire country. Referring specifically to Raghav Chadha, he said that the leader who was recognized at the national level by Arvind Kejriwal, leaving the party like this is against morality. These statements of AAP leaders have made it clear that the party is directly viewing this development as a “political conspiracy”. At the same time, there is no official response from BJP on these allegations.
