IT sector giant Infosys has announced a dividend for its shareholders. If you also hold shares in this company, funds are headed to your account as well. The company has declared a dividend of ₹25 per share. This means that if you own 1,000 shares of the company, you stand to gain ₹25,000. While releasing its results for the fourth quarter (Q4) of the financial year 2026 on Thursday, the company reported that its net profit during this period rose 21% year-on-year to ₹8,501 crore, up from ₹7,033 crore in the same quarter last year.
**A Glance at the Company's Financial Health**
In this quarter, the company's revenue grew by 13.4% to ₹46,402 crore, compared to ₹40,925 crore last year.
Meanwhile, the company's operating profit for the quarter stood at ₹9,743 crore, up from ₹8,575 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
For the full financial year 2026, the company's net profit increased by 10.20% to ₹29,440 crore.
Furthermore, revenue from operations rose by 9.6% to reach ₹1.78 lakh crore, compared to ₹1.62 lakh crore last year.
In the March quarter, revenue from the company's largest segment—Financial Services—grew by 5%.
For the financial year 2027, the company has projected that its revenue could grow by 1.5% to 3.5%, while its operating margin is expected to range between 20% and 22%.
**Company to Hire 20,000 Freshers**
Company CEO Salil Parekh stated that Infosys delivered a strong performance in the financial year 2026, driven significantly by large deal wins and its enterprise AI strategy. The Total Contract Value (TCV) of large deals during this quarter stood at $3.2 billion (approximately ₹30,100 crore). For the full year, this figure reached $14.9 billion (approximately ₹1,40,000 crore).
The company's CFO, Jayesh Sanghrajka, stated that the company plans to hire 20,000 new graduates in the financial year 2027. By the end of the quarter, the total headcount at the company stood at 328,594.
