The police is investigating the matter. The accused is also being questioned in this regard. After the rape and murder in Kailash Hills, the accused also committed theft. A cupboard was found broken in the house. What all was stolen from the house is also being ascertained.

The police stated that the accused was hired by an IRS officer a year ago on the suggestion of a junior. He hails from Alwar's Rajgarh tehsil, Rajasthan. He was addicted to online games and frequently borrowed money from nearby drivers, guards, and others, but failed to return it. He would keep the money he received to buy household items and borrow it from shops. He was fired a month and a half ago due to these behaviors. According to CCTV footage, the accused was wearing white trousers when he entered the house. He came out wearing black trousers and a backpack. The housekeeper was on leave. He had previously worked there, so he knew where the house keys were kept. Fifteen teams were formed to arrest him. With the help of CCTV footage and mobile location, the team tracked the accused to Dwarka. He was hiding in a hotel. The accused has been arrested and is being interrogated regarding the incident.
