Bengal and Tamil Nadu Voting Live : Voting is underway for all 234 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu and 152 seats in the first phase of West Bengal assembly elections from this morning. In which tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the voters. 70 percent voting was recorded in Tamil Nadu till 3 pm. In the first phase of elections in Bengal, 78.77 percent voting was recorded till 3 pm.

According to the Election Commission, 70 percent voting has been recorded in Tamil Nadu till 3 pm. 68.13 percent voting took place till 3 pm in Chennai. In the first phase of elections in Bengal, 78.77 percent voting was recorded till 3 pm; South Dinajpur leads with 81.49 percent voting. Let us tell you that there are 5.73 crore voters in the state, who will decide the fate of 4,023 candidates by casting their votes at 75,064 polling stations located at 33,133 places.
Voting is being held on a total of 152 seats in 16 districts in West Bengal. For this, more than 44 thousand polling centers have been established and a total of 1 thousand 478 candidates are in the electoral fray. Voting will be held in the second phase on April 29. The election results in five states including Tamil Nadu and Bengal will be declared on May 4.
