Along with keeping the skin hydrated, it is also important to keep it moisturized. If the skin remains moisturized, it looks soft and shiny from outside. Talking about summer skin care, people focus more on hydration. In summer, the skin sweats which leads to dryness. In such a situation, it is advisable to eat and apply such things on the skin which have high water content. Well, here we are going to tell you how the skin can be moisturized in summer. Different types of body lotions are available in the market but there is a risk of chemicals being mixed in them.
Such products provide instant results but cause skin problems later on. Instead, you can use some oil to moisturize the body naturally. Let us tell you about those oils which can make the skin of the entire body glowing and healthy.
Skin care with coconut oil
It is a kind of multitasker because it is beneficial for both our skin and hair. It contains many fatty acids and antioxidants. These elements go inside our skin and make it smooth, soft and naturally glowing. To get the best results from coconut oil, apply it on the skin before bathing because by doing so it gets absorbed well. Due to sun exposure throughout the day, the skin feels dry and tired. For this, you can nourish the skin by adding a few drops of lavender in coconut oil.
almond oil
If the oil made from this dry fruit is applied on the entire body, it gives instant glow and silky smoothness. It contains Vitamin E, zinc and healthy fats. After applying this, the skin becomes deeply moisturized, which reduces tan and also removes dullness. Just before bathing every day, apply lukewarm almond oil and massage gently. Almond oil improves blood flow in the skin. If you apply it on the entire body daily, it makes the skin soft and also brings natural glow.
Sesame oil
Sesame oil can be applied on the skin even in summer but it should be applied within its limits. This oil contains Vitamin E and many antioxidants which can prove to be a game changer for dull and dry skin. In Ayurveda, it is used in Abhayanga massage which is effective in detoxifying. If there is dryness in the skin, sesame oil is a great solution. After applying it on the body, massage for 10 minutes. This will improve blood flow and the skin will also become healthy.
mustard oil
Mustard oil is definitely included in Indian kitchen. Its smell can be a little irritating but it also has many benefits on the skin. This favorite oil of Indians contains omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants. These elements boost blood circulation and the complexion also becomes brighter. To avoid bad odor while applying it, mix a few drops of jasmine or lavender oil in it. Due to the deep nourishing benefits the skin gets, it is able to glow naturally.
