A major bank is offering customers a free Amazon voucher worth £50 - and you don't need to switch accounts. Financial experts have shared more information on how to get the reward from Santander.

In an update posted to the Money Saving Expert (MSE) website, which was founded by Martin Lewis, the team explained that you could get a free £50 Amazon voucher by opening an account with Santander.

You don't have to switch your current account over for the deal, though.

MSE said: "New. Free £50 Amazon voucher for opening (no need to switch) a new bank account."

Qualifying accounts include the Santander Edge, Edge up, Edge Explorer or Everyday Current Account.

To be eligible you also need to make 10 debit card transactions each with a minimum value of £5 in each of the consecutive months of May, June and July 2026 (30 or more in total) and the account has not been closed.

MSE continued: "New and existing Santander customers can open its Everyday fee-free account if you just want to grab the £50, or its £3 a month Edge account that pays 1% cashback (max £10/mth) on household bills paid by Direct Debit - good for a joint bills account."

To get the voucher you need to open the account via a link here and make at least ten £5 or more debit card spends each month in May, June and July.

However, it's important to know that you won't qualify for the voucher if you've had one (or a switch bonus) from Santander in the last year.

Once done, you'll get an email by September 15 where you can claim the voucher (which you must then do within 30 days).

If you're happy to switch, instead of the £50 Amazon voucher, you can get a free £180 cash by switching an existing bank to either the Edge or Edge Up.
