CM Gramodyog Rozgar Yojana: The Government of Uttar Pradesh is implementing a scheme designed to empower the youth and make them self-reliant. This scheme, titled the 'Chief Minister's Village Industries Employment Scheme' (*Mukhyamantri Gramodyog Rozgar Yojana*), offers young entrepreneurs loans of up to ₹10 lakhs at a nominal interest rate of just 4% to help them start their own industries. These loans will be disbursed through banks, with the government providing a substantial interest subsidy (rebate) on the borrowed amount.

It is important to note that applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Minorities, Women, Ex-servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities will not be required to pay any interest on their term loans. The entire interest amount will be borne by the government.

Who Can Apply?

The applicant must be between 18 and 50 years of age.
A minimum educational qualification of having passed Class 8 is mandatory.
Applicants from the General Category are required to contribute 10% of the total project cost as their own share, while applicants from Reserved Categories need to contribute only 5%.
The applicant must not have previously availed of a loan from any government institution or the Khadi Board.

Passport-sized photograph and Aadhaar Card.
Certificate of educational qualification (Mark sheet).
Proof of Residence (Domicile Certificate) and Family/Population Certificate.
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Village Head (*Gram Pradhan*).
Caste Certificate (if applicable). Detailed Project Report (DPR): This entails a comprehensive breakdown of the specific business activity you intend to undertake and the estimated cost involved.

How to Apply for a Bank Loan?

Visit the Online Portal: Go to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board and click on the link for the 'Mukhyamantri Gramodyog Rojgar Yojana'.
Registration: Register by filling in your basic details to obtain a Login ID.
Fill Out the Form: Enter your personal information, educational qualifications, and details regarding your proposed industry (Project) in the application form.
Upload Documents: Scan and upload all the necessary documents mentioned above to the portal.
Submission and Verification: After submitting the form, the District Village Industries Office will scrutinize your application. If found eligible, your application will be forwarded to the concerned bank for loan approval.
