Virat Kohli is once again trending online, but this time, not for his spectacular innings in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Instead, he has grabbed attention for a recent like on a post by German vlogger Lizlaz, sparking memes, debates, and widespread curiosity.
After liking the post, Kohli later unliked it. Unlike a previous similar incident, however, he did not issue any clarification this time.
Amid the online chatter, his ex-girlfriend Izabelle Leite also reacted. A viral post featured a collage of photos liked by Kohli, including those of Lizlaz and another influencer. The caption read, "One thing about Virat Kohli, the man clearly doesn't miss, on or off the field. From Izabelle Leite to Anushka Sharma... elite taste is just part of the brand."
Responding to this, Izabelle commented, "It's been 12 years and counting. Why can't people get over it?"

Izabelle had confirmed in 2014 that she and Kohli dated for about two years. She spoke about their relationship while promoting her film Purani Jeans.
Virat Kohli later married actor Anushka Sharma in 2017. The couple now has two children, daughter Vamika, who was born in 2021, and son Akaay, born in 2024.
The couple, monikered as "Virushka," continues to set relationship goals with their strong public and personal bond.

Virat's name was also associated with Sanjjanaa Galrani, with reports suggesting they were spotted together; however, she later clarified that they were just good friends. Kannada actress Sakshi Agarwal was another name linked to Kohli in media reports, but there was no confirmed relationship.
Reports have also linked Virat Kohli and Ritika Sajdeh during the early 2010s, when she worked as a sports talent manager handling his professional commitments. Their professional association, along with her brother Bunty Sajdeh, who managed Virat Kohli's early career, reportedly led to a close friendship. In 2013, after India toured Zimbabwe, Virat Kohli's photos of him and Ritika exiting a cinema sparked speculation, but neither of them ever confirmed any romantic involvement. Soon, it was reported that there was no romantic involvement.

Reacting to the viral moment, Lizlaz told Hindustan Times, "I actually felt a bit sorry for him. I was happy that he liked it, but when he unliked it, I felt bad because I don't even know how it became such a big story."
She added that she only learned about the incident through media reports: "I woke up and suddenly I was all over the news. People were sending me articles and messages all day, it was crazy."
