The sudden death of Divyanka Sirohi at the age of 30 has left many people in shock, especially those who followed the Haryanvi music scene closely. While she was known for her work in songs and videos, there is also growing curiosity about her life beyond the screen — her education, family, and how she reached where she did in a relatively short time.

According to media reports, Divyanka fell ill late Tuesday night at her residence in Ghaziabad. She reportedly felt dizzy and collapsed inside her home. During the fall, she suffered injuries, including to her head. Her family rushed her to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared her dead on arrival. Early reports suggested that she may have suffered a heart attack.

Her brother Himanshu recalled the sequence of events while speaking to Dainik Bhaskar and said, “Around 8 pm, she suddenly felt unwell and fell. She had a head injury and was bleeding. By the time Deepanshu reached her, her body had already gone cold.”

Education: Tech graduate who went on to do MBA

Away from the camera, Divyanka had a solid academic background. She completed her Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut. Later, she pursued an MBA degree from Sikkim, as per Times of India.

Before stepping into the entertainment world, she was reportedly working a regular job. Over time, she shifted towards acting and music videos, which eventually became her full-time career.

Family background

Divyanka is survived by her brother Himanshu and siblings Deepanshu and Jasmeet. She was unmarried and lived with her family in Ghaziabad. Those close to the family say she remained very connected to them even after finding recognition in the industry.

Divyanka’s final rites were performed on Wednesday morning in Ghaziabad, where she was living with her family. She originally belonged to Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. Family members and a few people from the Haryanvi industry gathered to pay their last respects.

Several associates, including producer Jeetu and actor Vikas, also visited her home to offer condolences.

From TikTok to Haryanvi music fame

Her journey in entertainment did not begin in a traditional way. Like many in recent years, she found her first audience through short video platforms. In an earlier interview, she had spoken about how one of her videos changed things for her.

That viral moment gave her visibility, and soon offers started coming in. Over time, she featured in more than 50 Haryanvi songs and worked with artists like Masoom Sharma, Amit Saini Rohtakiya, and KD.

With over a million followers on social media, Divyanka had built a steady fan base. She was especially known for her expressions and screen presence in music videos. Many in the Haryanvi entertainment circuit considered her a rising name.
