Brazilian actor Izabelle Leite, who dated Virat Kohli more than a decade ago, recently reacted to a post related to the cricketer’s romantic interests. It all began after Virat Kohli Instagram handle was seen on one of LizLaz’s pictures.
Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli recently sparked headlines after he liked a picture of German vlogger-musician LizLaz. People recounted a similar incident which occured in 2025 after Virat liked social media influencer Avneet Kaur’s picture. He later blamed it on “algorithm”.
Virat Kohli-LizLaz's ‘like’ row became a meme fodder for trolls who milked the incident thoroughly. One of the meme pages shared a video of all the women Virat Kohli ‘liked’. The collage also included his wife Anushka Sharma. It was captioned, “Nobody can deny about Virat Kohli is that his taste in women is absolute elite.”
Virat's ex-girlfriend Izabelle, however, was not happy at being included in the post. She expressed her disappointment by leaving a comment on the post: “It's been 12 years and counting. Why can't people get over it.”
When did Virat Kohli and Izabelle Leite date?The news of Virat and Izabelle dating rumours broke in 2012 after they were spotted together in Singapore.
In the same year, she was seen in Aamir Khan’s Talaash in a brief role. The following year, she did Sixteen. In 2014, during the promotion of her movie Purani Jeans, she spoke about her relationship with Virat. In an interview, she said that they saw each other for two years but had broken up.
She said, “Virat was one of the first Indian friends I had when I came to India. We were dating for quite a while. We were together for almost two years. But we didn't want to make it public. So yeah, Virat and I did have a relationship.” Now, Izabelle lives in Doha with her husband and two children.
