More than half of Australians would not welcome Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to live in their country after the royal tour last week, a poll has revealed. The Roy Morgan poll of 1,767 people across Australia found that a huge majority were aware of the trip. But of the 82% who knew they visited, just 41% said they would want the Sussexes to live there, while 59% said no.
Plus, the majority said the trip had not improved their opinion of the couple, who now live in California, with just 19% agreeing that it had. They also shared their thoughts on his relationship with his father amid widespread speculation of a reconciliation this year. After the Australia tour, just 13% believed last week's antics could help repair his bond with the King.
