New Delhi:Suzuki has updated the Avenis special edition with a new dual-tone colour, but nothing else has changed. The scooter now gets a Pearl Glacier White and Metallic Oort Grey finish. There is no increase in price, and the mechanical setup remains exactly the same as before.
This kind of update is mainly aimed at keeping the scooter fresh in a competitive 125cc segment. Many buyers in this category look at design and colour options before making a decision, so even a small visual change can make a difference in showrooms.

The main update here is the new dual-tone paint option for the Avenis Special Edition. Despite adding a new colour Suzuki has not increased the price, it continues to be the top variant in the lineup, priced at around Rs 86,677 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the range starts at about Rs 84,293.
For buyers, nothing changes in terms of performance or features. The update is purely about looks. However, in city markets where scooters are also seen as lifestyle products, colour choices can influence decisions, especially among younger buyers.
Engine and features changesThe Avenis continues with its 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It produces about 8.58 hp at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The scooter uses a CVT gearbox.
It weighs around 106 kg and comes with a 5.2-litre fuel tank. Suzuki claims a fuel efficiency of close to 55 km/l under standard conditions.
Features are also unchanged. It still gets full LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled digital LCD console with Suzuki Ride Connect, navigation support, call and SMS alerts, a USB charging port, and storage options including a 21.8-litre under-seat space. The hardware setup includes telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, and a front disc with a rear drum brake supported by CBS.
