If you want to reach here easily from Delhi then air travel is best for this. It takes only 40 to 45 minutes to reach Srinagar. Its ticket fare is Rs 5 to 7 thousand. After landing in Srinagar, one has to leave for Pahalgam which takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. Taxis are available from the airport itself, whose fare ranges between Rs 3000 to Rs 4000. However, sharing cabs may reduce expenses a bit.

Reaching Baisarn by Train

If you want to reach Baisarn Valley by train then it may be cheaper for you but it takes more time. After traveling by train from Delhi to Jammu, reach Srinagar by bus or car. From here you can reach Pahalgam by taking a normal cab or personal car.

To reach Baisarn Valley from Pahalgam, you had to trek by mule or on foot. But now this route is being made motorable. The distance of this route is 4 to 5 kilometers and earlier the fare of mule or pony was around Rs 1400 per person. However, this rate also changed according to the season.
