South Korean President Lee Jae Myung concluded his three-day official visit to India, during which the two countries promoted cooperation in key sectors such as shipping, shipbuilding and maritime logistics. The visit produced a total of 21 key outcomes, including strategic vision documents, agreements and institutional frameworks.

Let us tell you, during this visit, the leaders of India and South Korea signed many important agreements, which further strengthened the partnership between the two countries. Cooperation was particularly promoted in shipbuilding, port development and maritime logistics. Additionally, the shared vision ‘VOYAGES’ between the two countries was supported, which aims to enhance cooperation in maritime industries.

President Lee held long talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which the two leaders agreed to further deepen partnership under the India-ROK Comprehensive Framework. Under this, India’s plan to buy more than 400 ships was also discussed, which will generate opportunities worth about $ 25 billion.

Apart from this, emphasis was also laid on increasing cooperation for port development, science and technology, digital infrastructure and green growth initiatives. Several important Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed during the visit, and several announcements were made towards further strengthening India-South Korea relations.

India and South Korea have a strong strategic partnership, and the visit is expected to further deepen cooperation between the two countries, contributing to regional and global economic stability.
