Yusuf Pathan’s in-laws arrested: Former Indian cricket team all-rounder and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Yusuf Pathan’s father-in-law, his son and another relative have been arrested by Mumbai Police. Who has been accused of assaulting a man and his family. One accused is said to be absconding.

According to reports, these 3 people were arrested from Byculla area of the city two days ago. Police said that local resident Yusuf Khan was returning home around 9 pm on Saturday night. During this, water jumped from his car and fell on Shoaib Khan (Yusuf Pathan’s brother-in-law). Victim Yusuf Khan told the police that he stopped the car and immediately apologized to Shoaib for this incident, but he started abusing. Shoaib broke the windshield of the car with bamboo wood. Then he also attacked Yusuf Khan. In which he was badly injured.
According to the complainant, after returning home, Yusuf told his family about the entire incident and they advised him to go to the police. After which he left the house with his family members to go to the police station. Then on the way, he met Khalid Khan (father-in-law of Yusuf Pathan), who was also accompanied by his son Omarshad Khan, Shoaib and another accused Shahbaz Pathan. During this time an argument started between both the parties.
It is alleged that during the argument, Khalid, Omarshad, Shoaib and Shahbaz attacked Yusuf and his family with bamboo sticks and baseball bats. In which Yusuf’s brother-in-law Salman’s hand was broken, while his uncle Zaki Ahmed suffered serious injuries.
After this incident, one accused Shahbaz is said to be absconding, while three people were arrested and presented in the court. From where he has been sent to judicial custody till May 2. Meanwhile, Umarshad has lodged an FIR against the other party at Byculla Police Station. At present, no one has been arrested yet on this FIR.
