In a 66-ball knock, he hit a 175 as Gayle hit 13 fours and 17 sixes, which stands at the top of Highest Individual Score in IPL as well as any T20. He hit a blistering 141 off just 55 balls in Hyderabad. This was arguably one of the greatest innings witnessed in the history of the Indian Premier League, and with 14 boundaries and 10 maximums in the innings, he left opposition bowlers clueless at an astonishing strike rate of 256.36.

 

This inning was also the highest score by an Indian in the IPL at the time and his approach from the top was fearless. Abhishek Sharma's 141 against Punjab was the turning point in his IPL 2025 season where he cemented his place as one of the most dangerous young talents in the league.

Against KKR, at DY Patil Stadium, de Kock has produced a lovely 140* for Lucknow Super Giants. Ten fours and ten sixes formed this innings, an apt combination of might and finesse. This is one of the Highest Individual Score in IPL recently and a landmark of T20 batting.

Abhishek Sharma carried his form over to IPL 2026 with another towering hundred in Hyderabad as he remained unbeaten on 135 off 68 balls against Delhi Capitals. He went after the bowling right from the onset of the innings as he scored 10 fours and 10 sixes in his spellbinding century. Abhishek remained till the very end and guided the Sunrisers Hyderabad to a mammoth total of 238/2 in just 19.5 overs.

 

This inning was a testament to Abhishek's consistency as a top-order batter. After breaking the highest individual score record of an Indian player last season, Abhishek's IPL 2026 campaign so far continues to show his significant development as he has become one of the stalwarts in the SRH batting lineup.

De Villiers' maiden position in the list of Highest Individual Score in IPL came from a sensational 133* against Mumbai Indians. In his 59 balls, he smashed a whopping 19 fours and four sixes as de Villiers showed once again where gaps were and used precision surgical strikes to breach gaps. De Villiers could have been seen in any innovative form at Wankhede.

 

KL Rahul: 132* (2020)

The innings of 69 balls had 14 fours and seven sixes for KL Rahul's captain's knock at the hands of RCB in the UAE-hosted IPL. This innings propelled him as a changed batsman in T20 matches. This is the Highest Individual Score in IPL outside of the country in the matches conducted under the IPL.

De Villiers's second appearance in this list came as a blistering 129* against Gujarat Lions. His 52-ball blitz included 10 fours and 12 sixes, leaving the audience gasping for breath in Bengaluru.
